I have been working at Freddie Mac full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Flexible work arrangements, easy work schedule for non senior employees.

Cons

Low employee morale, high turnover, lack of aptitude in some departments, no pay increases (aside from promotion)

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do something to retain talent. Most of the talented employees have left and most of the people remaining have no motivation. Certain areas prosper and have talent but the majority of departments are lacking.

I worked at Freddie Mac full-time

    Pros

    Nice Facility
    Great Cafeteria
Gym, Basketball Court, On-site Wellness Center, Some departments have teleworking opportunities. Ed Haldeman was a great CEO who unfortunately decided to leave.

    Cons

Uncertainty about the future of the company has caused a lot of very talented employees to jump ship. Many not so talented employees are sticking around and waiting to get a nice severance package. Unable to attract quality Execs due to the new 500k cap in Salaries. New CEO does not seem as qualified for the position. Market Based Compensation has slashed a lot of salaries.

    Neutral Outlook
    Approves of CEO
