I worked at Freeman full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

I enjoyed working with the business users and my colleagues.

Cons

Upper management changes resulted in a shift in direction, and was no longer an environment I felt I belonged in. Focus was given to new technologies and implementing direction away from previous regime. Promotion opportunities were limited. Bonus directed to those more visible to C-level.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

It may be "just a title" to you, but it matters to those of us that don't have the title and the bonus structure that goes with it.

I worked at Freeman full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

I had a 20 year proven administrative career prior to Freeman at only 2 companies working for some very established Senior Executives.

    Cons

Was not on the "Friends & Family" Plan. Nepotism at its finest goes on at Freeman.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I wouldn't know where to begin.

I have been working at Freeman full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

This is a fast paced company that keeps on the cutting edge of the meeting and conference industry. They are very result oriented as opposed to hours oriented. So, one week you may put in 30 (for full time employees) and then another week 50-60. They even out very well and I love the freedom they give to perform your best.

    Cons

Career paths are not totally clear. It takes time to understand the culture and it is difficult to move up. As with many larger organizations, you have to be able to play to the politics and know the right people to get the right promotions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make more certain career paths and different job titles for people within the organization. The performance review / bonus system is not always indicative to what the group has performed to.
