I have been working at Fresenius Medical Care - North America

    Pros

Coworkers are experienced professionals. Interdisciplinary teams great to work with also very professional. You work autonomously and are respected by the doctors. Use your knowledge and critical thinking skills.

    Cons

Heavy physical work. Not respected by management. Asked to work long (up to 24 straight) hours. Difficult to get appropriate training learn by experience and willingness of co-workers to train you have to arrange for own training, seek it out. Compensation does not reflect the dedication and committment to the team and high skill level needed for this job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your experienced, highly -respected professional RN. Make them a part of your team to help solve the problems of higher costs to do business and the less money received by Medicare and other insurance payments to maximize the quality and availability of care to patients. Your frontline care provider is the promoter of the company. Treat them well. Do not cut their salaries and benefits, increase workload to improve your profit margin. There has to be better options.
