Pros

The co-workers are very dedicated to the success of the projects. This is a fast paced group that solves critical and time sensitive clinical sw and financial sw issues. The management is very support of the project goals and sensitive to the employees needs.
The Lexington location is primarily focused on IT, QA, and Clinician support. It is an small facility with easy access and parking.

Cons

There is difficulty with the accessing the correct stakeholders and clinicians to solve issues.
The facility needs additional restoration and an updated cafeteria.

I have been working at Fresenius Medical Care - North America full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great opportunity to build relationships with pts in a role that really impacts their health outcomes. It is generally satisfying to play a key role in a small interdisciplinary team that directs the pt's care.

    Cons

Please see the statement below: I believe there is a very real challenge at hand between managing excellent pt. care and juggling corporate business expectations. Sadly, I believe it is the pts. who see the poor result from unrealistic expectations.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The business initiatives are smart, and what is going to make this company competetive into the future. However, you are accomplishing these "projects" through your direct pt. care staff via a deluge of updates/corrections/and revisions of policy upon policy. [How could one keep up? which is clearly the expectation] I believe this challenge of providing "ultracare" is not met with adequate support, therefore in the end, it is the pts. who suffer the result as the direct care team attempts to juggle good pt. care with "business care."
