Company that is too large to truly oversee smaller areas.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

In order to be effective in managing others you need to be knowledgeable/experienced in the field. Need to attempt to support/reorient as much as possible before moving to termination and ensure thorough follow up on process(es). Be fair, honest and equitable in interacting with peers, subordinates, supervisors.

    Pros

    PTO is very good
    Getting to know patients well was very rewarding

    Cons

    Social workers are not appreciated at all and are given lots of clerical responsibilities. Middle management is stretched and unable to give adequate attention to their clinics. Clinic Managers run around like chickens with their heads cut off...UltraCare is a joke...FMC doesn't care about their patients at all.

    Treat your social workers and dietitians as professionals
