I have been working at Friendly's Ice Cream

    Pros

They were very good about adjusting my schedule to accommodate my time-off requests and the people there were very nice most of the time.

    Cons

Working on the grill during a dinner or lunch rush could get very stressful, and sometimes they didn't have enough people on to cover unexpected rushes.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Let employees help themselves to the soda fountain, and give them a free kids meal for each shift that is at least 8 hours long. It can get really hot behind the grill, and sometimes all you need is a little snack to get back some energy.

I worked at Friendly's Ice Cream full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Paid nine dollars an hour which is good for entry level food service jobs.
I was able to be cook and do dishes which added good variety to the job.

    Cons

    Management is very disrespectful.
    Treat employees poorly.
long hours are asked of you with overtime made hard to obtain.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Respect your employees more or you will continue to lose them at a high rate.
