Pros

The previous commenter is 100% correct, ever since Fast Transact was acquired by Frontstream Payments, working at Frontstream Payments has been chaos. Competent leadership, however, would have no trouble defining and enacting a solution but that is not the case at this company. The leadership here will speak to you as if you were in adult day care, spend more time covering up their own mistakes and blaming others than actually coming up with solutions, and feel that its more important to "look important" than to actually get things done. Brown nosing runs rampant and appears to be a viable means to success here at Frontstream and if you are a good liar and speak to people in a condescending manner, you will quickly work your way up the corporate ladder. If you are honest, work hard, and are willing to take considerably less pay than your counterparts you may be promoted to a supervisory position. The culture here is one of incompetence, where everyone points fingers at everyone else and taking responsibility for an issue is not a sign of responsibility, but a sign of "I don't want to get blamed for that!", so problems are constantly being "passed around" instead of being addressed. This company speaks of good values, yet does not practice them. They will lie to your face to accomplish their goals, which seem to change on a daily basis, and have no trouble whatsoever using deceitful tactics. This company fired many helpful people and now the workload is extremely heavy.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get your heads out of your butts and start behaving like adults. Every day things seem to go further downhill.

    Pros

    I can't think of any pros, unless you like extreme stress and no help and no talking like you are in 3rd grade and no management trying to change anything.

    Cons

    It is highly unorganized. You feel alone, because there is almost no real help if you need it. You are on your own. You are expected to sit at your desk all day and not speak or move. There is no team. Just a bunch of individuals who work there. At least one person has gotten fired every month in the last year.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Nothing ever changes. No one wants to say anything, because they are afraid to get fired. Maybe you should look at yourselves instead of just firing people. You are not trying to manage a company. You are trying to have a bunch of robots working for you. I guess they are cheaper.

    Pros

    - Management team cares enough to write fake reviews. One will appear to push this down shorter after it's published.

    Cons

    This is a management team that decides to burn clients, and then be outraged over attrition numbers. Company values are "cash now, deal with consequences later."

    Senior management hires family and cronies for insulation, most of whom are clearly under-qualified. I'm shocked that the investors can't see this.

    IT team is in free-fall. No competent developer would work in this environment. Leadership is in far over their heads, and more project managers than developers just make lead to a painful process.

    Zero marketing efforts, so god help you if you're in sales.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Quit throwing out the "startup mentality" line. Many of your employees came from startups and aren't easily fooled. A rigid hierarchy and heavy processes lifted from a 1980's era Sally Mae are far from "startup."

    Quit hiring from within the circle, and bring in fresh, qualified people. And the LISTEN to them.

    Your cronyism has left you IT team totally dysfunctional. Can everyone AVP and up, and hire someone with modern software development experience to lead this team. They'll cut you IT expenses in half, and double productivity.
