I worked at Frontier Communications full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

The pay is good. The Everett, WA. call center has a beautiful building and well kept campus. Eight weeks of paid training.

Cons

This is a call center sales position where customers call in with billing questions and it is the reps. responsibility to try to sell on EVERY call - even if the person calling is irate.

Advice to Management

Don't force sales reps to attempt a sale to irate customers, it just makes them more irate.

    Pros

    Other employees were absolutely amazing.

    Cons

    Lack of accountability from management. Too much focus on sales. Archaic systems.

    Advice to Management

    Fire current management team from West DRC dispatch center. Very disrespectful management team, that lacks the accountability that they say is expected from employees. If you want to get reprimanded for doing what you were told to do, or if you are directed not to do something and don't do it, be ware. your job will be at stake. This company does not take the proper steps to ensure customer satisfaction. They lack innovation and refuse to improve their internal systems to better serve customers and make it easier for employees to help customers.

    I have been working at Frontier Communications as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Good group of people to work with. Knowledgeable co-workers <--- learned a lot from these guys!

    Cons

    -Schedules rarely rotate for us night shifters. -Antiquated equipment. The amount of really old equipment is sad. -Billing system is a mess. -Got rid of the Verizon employees after the buyout and replaced with "contractors", big mistake since firing those people keeps Frontier from accessing past bills on a certain billing system. BIG OOPS

    Advice to Management

    Don't make promises you cannot keep.
