Excellent Place Initially, but slowly changed to bigger company with lack of concern for employees

I have been working at Frontpoint full-time

Pros

Casual Work Environment, nice break rooms, company events

Cons

As company grew you become just a number not a person...mediocre performance is acceptable and actually better for the company because you get paid less and they don't have to shell out large checks to you...they say they want to pay you but the reality is they want you to just miss the big paycheck and fall into the middle of the pack so the payout is less for the company...pay plans are adjusted every other month to make sure you don't make too much..

I have been working at Frontpoint full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I've worked for many call centers and Frontpoint has been the only company that sets reasonable expectations and follows through. With so much growth of course things change frequently but I appreciate that they tell people up front and that there's always a reason behind it.

Culturally Frontpoint is a very metric-driven, young company so new (good) ideas are appreciated and fostered until they can be put in place. There are usually small events every month with a larger event every quarter that cater to different interests (happy hours, cookie exchanges, pumpkin carving competitions, ice cream carts, etc.).

Compensation is average for the local market and promotions are almost always given to the people who have earned it. There are some managers and upper management who don't have call center experience but they learn quickly and Frontpoint offers training plus other managers are always willing to help/listen/offer advice.

    Cons

Sometimes the changes that are made flat out don't work. It happens, but if you voice your concerns and can show some evidence of why it isn't working, it can be changed.
