Fry's Electronics – “Poorly run and unorganized”
Pros
- Good discount on selected items
- Good pay if you can sell
- Attract lots of customers (more opportunities for sales)
Cons
- Very bad management
- Management don't care about their employees
- Very poorly run and unorganized
- Employees have low morale
- Management favor some employees over others
- Not dealing with employee issues about the workplace
- Don't care if other employees are taking other employee's sales
- Unfair work load
- Require Fry's cards that has limited benefits and very low approval rate
- Employees have to stay for a while even though the closing work has been finished
- One of the highest turnover rates (almost half of the cashiers are new every week)
- Sometimes you get stuck with a customer who wants to tell you about their life story
Advice to Senior Management
- Treat employees as employees and not as a number
- Better organized
- Raise employee morale
- Better training for management
- Better training for employees than throwing them onto the floor
- Listen to employees' needs
- More fair system for sales associates
