I have been working at Fujitsu America full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

clear global strategy that is communicated to the employees
large company with strong history (owned by Fujitsu LTD which is the AT&T of Japan)
flexibility (if you happen to not be at HQ)
employee loyalty is high even given cons below

Cons

no clear career path for those in support roles
turnover in management leaves the organziation without clear leadership which impacts morale
sales doesn't get consistent results even though pipeline was looking great in the past year
poor organizational communication (improving slowly) inhibits morale

Advice to ManagementAdvice

training for those in management and promote from within

    I worked at Fujitsu America as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

    People in Fujitsu America are nice to work with. The team I work with is full of talented engineers, and it was a very good experience.

    Cons

    The company is in Sunnyvale, CA. The living cost is high and housing is not easy. Besides the problem of location, others are all fine.

    Pros

    Full list of services to sell
    Generally cooperative co-workers
    Wide open territories

    Cons

    Constantly having to justify investments in pursuits
    Would often bring deals about to close, and management would choose to not complete the agreement because of hiring commitments

    Pick what you are really competitive in, and what customers believe you are competitive in, and focus on it.
