Strong global capability
Active R&D working on lots of cool technology
Good, global brand
Good global corporate citizen in their resident communities
Good work / life balance

Cons

Too bureaucratic
Delivery capability too weak to generate solid references
Infrastructure services capability too immature and not improving
Chasing a marketplace profile (Australia) that doesn't exist in America
Not willing to pay for performance

Stop changing direction every 3 months.

    Pros

    Big Company, some businesses are doing well, so if you are in right place it may be good.

    Cons

    software business is very limited, product line and future vision for products is worse than a start-up. There is no strategy for growth, decision makers either don't understand the market or don't care. All management cares about is cutting employee' salaries, benefits to improve bottom line.

    Pros

    Lots of good people in the consulting ranks willing to help in a collaborative manner.

    Cons

    Lots, too many to list here. Upper management in the ERP consulting ranks are out of touch with the general consulting ranks, the vision doesn't get passed into the consulting level. Management style that upper management employ boarder on the bullying. Leaderships direct reports are too scared to say anything, it's my way or the highway. Consultants are not willing to go the extra mile for leadership and only worried about their jobs and most looking to get out. Bullying only works for a short time.

    Advice to Management

    I have worked for other large consulting companies, Fujitsu America was the worst. My advice is, decide what type of consulting company you want to be and attract the top quality people to help you execute the plan. Right now Fujitsu is just known as a low cost player, nothing else.
