Good place to work if you turn a blind eye to how the company is run

Senior Manager (Current Employee)
Pearl River, NY

ProsYou get to work on advanced technology (ROADM, OTN, Data services). You have some latitude in how you execute your work. Acceptance of new process ideas.

ConsOvertime is expected for some disciplines. Engineering/planning are very silo'd. No clear communications what the customer is really looking for in a product. Very political; some managers/directors very protective of their turf, at times to the detriment of the company.

Advice to Senior ManagementDirectors should be in more working meetings (cross discipline meetings) to ensure their goals are being met and to see their team in action. Some would be very surprised about their team's performance.

Better stay away - lot of politics, no challenging work, overall very poor place to work.

    Project Manager (Former Employee)
    Richardson, TX

I worked at Fujitsu Network Communications

Pros: -Has okay benefits. -Holidays and vacations were good. Cons: -Extremely bad employee moral. -Lots of management here that's been here for decades (some of them a Quarter-century) and most are incompotent or clueless. -Horrible place for… Advice to Senior Management: This company does have the technology and key employees to make it an outstanding company, senior management and director levels… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
