Former Employee - Software Engineer in Kawasaki, Kanagawa (Japan)

I worked at Fujitsu full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

R&D division paid overtime fee.
Especially if you're new to industry, this would give you great incentive to work hard (like 24h a day).

Cons

You would realize salary didn't increase so much at some point.
You might be annoyed by Japanese way of rating people - years of service -.
Although this is not probably happening only at Fujitsu, I didn't feel HR was trying to figure something out.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper management has to figure out way to recognize / grow talents.

Great opportunities in many fields both internally (North American Division) and external (Fujitsu Worldwide). Good direction for a Service Provider

    Cons

Leadership challengs due to lack of direction

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Current Employee - Billing Clerk in Stockholm, Stockholm (Sweden)

I have been working at Fujitsu full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Your skills matters more than university degree and one is being offered many various challanges sometimes at completely difference areas.
Apart from that, Fujitsu offers strong social security system.

    Cons

Salaries are low comparing to other companies in IT brach. Promotion usually doesn't give any salary raise. High turn-over of staff and management. Lack of documented processes and systems - excel is the main 'system' that company is using hence to much manual work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote your current employees to management positions rather than inviting people outside of organization. Focus on design of the processes, maintain systems with automated processes. Implement bonus system.
