Great company if you don't mind a pay cut and overworked upper management

    Pros

    Great CEO
    Very social work environment
    Casual dress
Interesting work if you enjoy YouTube
Upper management truly willing to hear your troubles and concerns regarding company which is rare find

    Cons

    Horrendous pay.
    No benefits when you start.
No HR, so get used to sexual harassment and inappropriate comments.
    No consequences for poor work.
No standard of hiring, once you're hired, they'll probably never fire you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to let go of the people who are hurting your company and reward those who are doing exceptionally well. Otherwise, you'll lose all the good ones and will be left with a flailing company full of dead weight employees and not enough talent.

I have been working at Fullscreen full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    - engineering team is a great group of people to work alongside of
    - CTO protects us and we stay focused: I never have more than an hour's worth of meetings a day
    - really flexible with scheduling
    - fun to be pioneering an upcoming shift in media

    Cons

    - vision is lacking on projects
    - product decisions are made seemingly on whims
    - there's a bit of a wall between product vision and engineering talent
    - physical location makes for tough communication across departments (this will be changing soon when we move)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - now that we have some new players on board, let's narrow the focus of our projects
    - embrace innovation from the top down, and empower those that want to try something new
