GE Aviation Employee Review

Current Employee – been working at GE Aviation full-time for more than 7 years

Pros – great opportunity to work in various parts of the business. GE spends a lot of time training and developing their employees into leaders. They give you the opportunity to move anywhere in the world and travel for work as part of developing you into global leader. Its also easy to transfer within the company to different GE businesses such as going from Aviation to Energy, or Health care to Capital.

Cons – GE will never pay as much as other businesses, this is mostly due to the fact that GE has much better opportunities to develop you as a leader, and has more leadership opportunities than any other company. this typicaly is the cause of any retention loss.

Advice to Senior Management – sometime for top talent you need to be willing to pay a little more.
