    Pros

Multinational company with endless possibilities. Lots of opportunities to have fun at work. A company that truly cares about there employees.

    Cons

Lack of training/onboarding process in some key roles is extremely unfortunate and can you put you at a disadvantage amongst your peers.
Terrible hiring process, that desperately needs work.

I have been working at GE Capital full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

-People are motivated and hard working
-A lot of opportunities to learn
-It used to be easy to move functionally or geographically (still can be, if you are a "top talent")

    Cons

-Salaries are average unless you really fight for an increase every year
-Its all about the shareholder, not the stakeholder or employees
-Lack of vision outside of US - where is GE Capital going? What is the strategy?
-Related to the lack of vision, the message externally is all about growth - internally its all about downsizing

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay more attention to job satisfaction and not just the bottom line. Create a long term vision and stay the course, rather than shifting with the wind and chasing short term gain.
