Great company for work-life balance and conservative growth

Lead Scientist (Current Employee) Niskayuna, NY

ProsWork with some of the best minds in different scientific disciplines, great work-life balance, relative flexibility fo do risky research

Cons"process" driven company, lot of inertia in terms of quickly moving an idea into product, nobody publicly reports any failed experiments inspite of this being an R&D site - goes to show how folks have to be tactful with presenting their work.

Advice to Senior ManagementSimplify the day to day "processes" and make EMS a *real* exercise - not something that one can master after a few years of experience.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
