Challenging work environment, opportunities for advancement, talented team

Cons

Larger organizations are by nature more beaurocratic and slow. Continuing to focus efforts on innovation will help.

    I worked at GE Healthcare

    Pros

    Great location and a great set of customers. Work can be intellectually stimulating. Healthcare sector makes one feel like they are doing good

    Cons

    Lack of strategy. Poor/lackluster/incompetent executive leadership at all levels. Too much red tape. Company does not value the people who do the work, but rewards failure at the executive level

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be humble and admit that you have a lot to learn about the sector, leadership, and business. Listen to the experts, rather than playing expert and making decisions that result in job losses, customer dissatisfaction

    I have been working at GE Healthcare full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    Flexibility, work from home, manager, vacation time, employee discounts

    Cons

    Many of the benefits discontinued or changed. I felt like I was demoted. Upper management has no idea what's going on and does not seem to care. No room for growth.

    Do more to keep valuable employees.
