    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at GE Healthcare full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Flexibility, work from home, manager, vacation time, employee discounts

    Cons

Many of the benefits discontinued or changed. I felt like I was demoted. Upper management has no idea what's going on and does not seem to care. No room for growth.

    Advice to Management

Do more to keep valuable employees.

I worked at GE Healthcare full-time

    Pros

GE has a lot of great products and great people

    Cons

GE has a lot of layers, vision and priorities and even information you need to do your job is shared inconsistently. If you don't know the person you need to contact (for information, or anything else) there is no way to find out who that person is and nobody will help you. If you think that working with a large company means you get a lot of support staff, think again. The supporting roles and people have been gone for years, and more get laid off all the time as GE restructures to streamline and simplify their business. GE does value it's customers - but as a source of continuing revenue, not as customers per se that GE wants to make happy and support

    Advice to Management

If you talk to the same people about what's "really" going on all the time, you'll always get the same answers. You need to broaden the scope of the employees (in the trenches) that you engage for feedback, advice, insight.
