Very poor management at "C" levels. You have to have the right face to be selected for the "right training", miss out on that training and your career is at a dead end. Don't speak up, you're labelled a troublemaker if they don't like what you say. Highly political environment, your skill at handling this is your only hope.

Advice to Senior Management

Countries hold all the power rather than the centre leaving them to make all the decisions locally to their own agendas rather than any global strategy. Some CEO's, CFO's, CIO's take decisions for their own personal advancement rather than improving their business. This business has now been outmaneuvered by the Commercial Finance management and is a dead man walking. They had the opportunity to be a great company but weak leadership from Dave Nissen with no simplification carried out means they missed the boat.
