    I have been working at GE Power & Water

    Pros

    Work from Home and at customer sites.
    Little direct supervision.
    Freedom to plan your work and meet your customers needs.
    They provide you thetools to do your job.

    Cons

    The company is so large and complicated that often it is difficult to find the right resources to give you help.
    I never met one of my bosses in person.
    The compensation package is not clearly communicated to the employees due to the fact we are not centrally located.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Stream line the new business approval process. Put the necessary information and tools to sell in the hands of the field sales people.

    Pros

    Good engineering work environment for experienced engineer.

    Cons

    high regulated and tight project schedule and very slow, But it is nuclear industry.

    Need more practical training program for new employee
