I worked at GE Power & Water full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

good salary for the average of the sector. Leading company on gas engines bussiness. good athmosphere between tehnicians. Some other benefits

    Cons

no posibilities for technicians to have a career inside the company. (from junior to senior technician that' s all) . At least in Spain office, technicians know how, opinion and stuff never was taken on consideration.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

jenbacher bussiness it's sales and service. On the service part technicians are the most valuable part as far as they are providing solutions to the customers. Try to involve senior technicians on other roles different from field jobs. And listen to their opinions.

    Pros

    Flexible time. Awesome technical training.

    Cons

Average salary. You need to handle smelly chemicals. Need to do logistics and technician jobs. Little technical knowledge that is not so good for long term as engineer. Managers are not professional and lying most the time.
