Pros

Integrity matters...performance-driven culture...opportunities for advancement...exposure to senior leaders...strong benefits package...listening and learning culture...solid performance review processes...basically if you perform at this company you can go far...socially responsible employees and supportive Company...strong internal and external support of Green and Health initiatives

Cons

Can be too bureaucratic...not always a "make the market" company, but a fast follower...fairly conservative, which actually has served them well in the recession...

Advice to Management

Keep innovating on the industrial side - the future is in global infrastructure

    Pros

A flexible approach to career advancement and leadership development. Ability to move between many businesses and multiple experiences. Opportunity to "fail smart" and take risks.

    Cons

Although things are changing, you will work very hard, sometimes very long, and in a good deal of ambiguity.those who are not decisive, inclusive, and lacking a good mix of thoughtful and provocative thinking will struggle to succeed.

    Advice to Management

Engage the sr. leadership more often, and utilize social media more effectively to connect employees. Take the gloves off when it comes to attacking opportunities to lead the charge among competitors.
