Pros

I did an internship with GE Energy, the internship was challenging and they threw me right in. I learned a lot from the experience and felt the work actually making an impact.

Cons

The work involves primarly working with contractors in foreign countries, so there is not much face to face interaction with coworkers. Also, the technologies aren't the most up and coming.

    Pros

The environment is challenging, exciting and you have a lot of room to move within in the company. It is best to be ambitious early on as doors can close later in career.

    Cons

Sometimes it isn't as competitive as you would like. There is a lot of processes that take a long time since its such a big company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Decrease the processes
