Thank you for the review. As we strive to make GE better we find this information priceless. GE is big and we are constantly working on trying to make it 'smaller' in feel and cross function and ... More

    Pros

GE provides a lot of experience in a short amount of time. They offer the ability to work from remote to some. The pay is competitive.

    Cons

The major con is that the amount of output expected in the current culture will drown you. Work a standard eight hour day, then go home log in and work more. Sadly that isn't even enough time in the majority of cases to get everything done. There is such a strong focus on reducing US headcount that the employees who still have jobs are being overworked.

    Advice to Management

Provide some open communication. Especially in situations where rumors are flying being open & honest would save a lot of headaches.
