Pros

Management does not micro manage. They give you the goals, its up to you to get the job done. Many times the job is what yo make it.
There are very few to no slackers at GE. Its a great opportunity to work with the best and brightest for the most part.

Cons

You must be willing to go the extra mile to succeed. You will get what you put into it.

Advice to Senior Management

Hang in there. If you can succeed in appliances you can succeed anywhere.
