SBetter companies to work for than this one.

Area Revenue Manager (Former Employee) Charlotte, NC

ProsCompensation was fair, worked with good people at the property level.

ConsCorporate office scapegoats property level managers... no loyalty--you are just a social security number on a payroll entry.... doesn't matter how much you do, it's never enough. Salary managers forced into long hours as a cost savings. Corporate VPs act as if their word is gospel. Promotions not based on skill---you must brown nose and kiss butt endlessly if you have any chance of being promoted. Put in 5 years, increased revenues and market share exponentially and while I did get my bonuses, got nothing else but blame if we had 1 bad week out of 20. Another company hired me for the position I was qualified for and striving for that GF kept denying me for so I left. Not a place for seasoned hotel professionals. They'll frustrate you to no end.

Advice to Senior ManagementShow some appreciation for the work your property level employees do.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Avoid this place at all cost

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Chandler, AZ

I have been working at GF Management full-time for more than a year

Pros: The property has a great history. Cons: Zero training. Management plays the blame game not based on fact, disrespectful to lower employees. Poorly organized, poorly run, just daily Chaos. Must brown… Advice to Senior Management: Replace management and HR with management that knows how to utilize their employees skills and treat their employees with respect and appreciation.… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company… More

You can go as far to succeed as you will allow yourself to.

Traveling GM (Former Employee) San Antonio, TX

I worked at GF Management full-time for more than 8 years

Pros: Continuous on-going training. Trust is earned and given. Cons: Away from home for extended amounts of time. Not much… Advice to Senior Management: Coincide training with input from managers. There is a great deal… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More
