Pros

Fast growing, flat, organization with tremendous opportunities for advancement

GP's Pottstown office is full of great, hardworking people who are neglected, unvalued and disposable to management.

I have been working at GP Strategies as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

Some opportunities for work flexibility, particularly in an emergency.
Opportunities for client interaction and project management experience.
People in the office are friendly, hard-working and eager to lend a helping hand.

    Cons

The management at this office is petty, juvenile, and passive aggressive. They do not respond to issues well and are slow to mitigate concerns of unprofessional behavior.

The company advertises lots of great benefits like working from home and paying for school and additional certification, but this office does not support those benefits.

The client is the first priority, and the employees are over burdened and under supported.

There is no transparency from the management to the employees, lots of back room dealing and passing the blame off on a lower-level person.

There is no communication between the managers and the employees, and often the employees are made to feel like problems are their fault, when the manager did not properly communicate in the first place.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees like you value them. Try to build an office environment where employees like to come into work and feel like they are not taken advantage of or disposable. Create a non-hostile work environment by communicating openly and acting in a professional manner.
