Large company, growing pains, cultural mis matches due to constant stream of acquisitions

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
San Francisco, CA

ProsGreat , bright , smart people
Fast paced, hot industry , leader n mobile space
Lovely China Basin offices
Decent perks and overall benefits

ConsCulture
Lack of clarity of vision or communication from exec mgt about where the company is headed beyond the next acquisition
HQ is in Tokyo, autonomy for the US office is hard won

Advice to Senior ManagementOne size fits all approach does not work. This is US not Japan. Use the expertise in your local markets, these people know what they're doing. They have deep understanding of the business. Listen to them. Exec Mgt often seems detached from rest of personnel and disconnected. Pay attention to the feedback that your employees are giving you and you might stem the flow of people who are leaving daily.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
