Cons

Hectic pace with little time to step back and catch your breath before the next event or project.

    Pros

    Non profit with excellent view of global issues and perspectives in mobile. Ability to generate solid black book of contacts and relationships.

    Cons

    Non profit association governed by mobile network operators. Often extensive international travel. Very limited U S presence. Often technical focused.

    Pros

    Highly changeable work environment is never dull.
    A wealth of human talent and people are free to express themselves
    Cultural diversity

    Cons

    Constant self-reinvention often results in good being discarded with the bad (people and processes)
    HR policy is sound but practice is shambolic.

    Despite creditable efforts in producing strategic vision, management focus remains short-term.
