If you are in the EDI business and want to stay; GXS at least has it's own VAN.
Cons
Overworked, on-call 24x7, senior management ineffectiveness and turnover, poor client relationships, inability to deliver timely solutions, excessive debt to value ratio, the last of the EDI VANs are all like vultures fighting for the remaining scraps of carrion
Advice to Senior Management
You need on-shore talent to create and deliver products; you keep proving to your customers that your off-shore resources cannot deliver. You need to go to market with some new fully functioning solutions that don't have to be "customized" from the ground up. Before separating from GE, the company followed good quality control standards; you need to return to that model.
