Salary was above the industry norm, but no bonus and the non-management people were generally good. Easy commute

In my 20 years of employment, this was the absolute worst company I had ever worked for. Poor internal communication, constantly changing deadlines, horrendous financial system, and indifferent senior leadership. There was no appreciation for hard work done, but if you made a mistake, you would not hear the end of it. I manged to last eighteen months and was able to find another position at a better firm. My peers in my department were eventually pushed out and I am not sure what happened to them. If I had received just one word of encouragement or some support after working 14 hour days, I would have stayed longer. This place was an enormous life lesson

Advice to Senior Management

Get some competent mid-level managers in there who have time to listen to employee concerns and improve internal communication, because it is absolutely appalling
