GXS – “GXS continues to grow, but can it sustain its current customer base?”

Pros

The company provides stability. The salary is very good. Benefits are fairly decent and comprable to other comapnies in the industry. Working at home occassionally is allowed.

Cons

Way too much pressure with sometimes unrealistic deadlines. Too many old timers used to doing things the old way. Technology is 20 years behind. They recently abandoned full time work at home in Systems Development, unless you are outside a 50 mile radius of an office.

Advice to Senior Management

Try and understand the underlying issues. If growth is a mandate, invest in future technology. We have less than 10 people in the company responsible for the successful delivery of all of our new Managed Services projects. We do not have the time or material to bring new people in. Our offshore quality is terrible, we are getting exactly what we are paying for.
