Pros

The people I work with are amazing. We work hard, support one another, and appreciate each others' knowledge. The leaders are approachable and innovative. Mark Bamforth is a very strong CEO. Gallus is growing substantially!

Cons

There is nothing negative I have to say about Gallus. It is a fantastic place to work.

Advice to Management

Continue to include employee's in decision making and continue to drive for results. We are all in this together!

    Pros

Great Training Environment. The company suffers from sever under-staffing and shortage of qualified employees. Entry level employees get to do even the most specialized and difficult tasks to fill the gaps. One year at Gallus equals 6-10 years of experience at any other big pharma company. This makes it an ideal first job if you can handle a high pressure environment.

    Cons

Lack of Leadership. The previous leadership (Mark Banforth) created the company simply to sell it off at a profit without any consideration for it's employees or the future of the facility. In addition, most departments are run by under-educated and under qualified people with poor ethics. Lack of Work/Life Balance. Most employees never get to use their time off simply because they are too overworked. Mounting work load associated stress leads to very high turnover rate (~40%/year) due to burnout. Below Average Wages. Employees are paid below average salaries and the benefits are average at best. Dog Eat Dog Environment. As the projects mount and the company discovers it cannot fulfill on its promises to clients most interactions with meetings resemble a proverbial "knife fight". Employees spend a lot of time protecting themselves rather than using their energy to create value for the company.

    Advice to Management

Grow your business less aggressively and focus on the people. Hire better managers.

    Pros

Cant think of one. Maybe mark bamforth, the CEO. He is the only one that is tolerable.

    Cons

This company lacks both leaders and vision. As part of an acquisition, they've taken over an East Coast facility (Princeton). Over the past few monts, their focus has been on all of the wrong things. The facility lacks an on site business leader (a site manager was brought in), and te lack of leadership is undeniable. It's the calm before the storm before all sorts of mishaps begin to hit the proverbial fan.

    Advice to Management

Vision + Leaders are needed to engage an intelligent and cultivated work force.
