I worked at Gannett full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Good colleagues, benefits, and flexibility

Cons

Outdated technology - they're chasing innovators. When I was there, they were heavy in legacy Senior Executives who were untouchable.

I have been working at Gannett full-time

    Pros

Goodoverall experience - have learned a lot. Flexible work schedule. Great benefits.

    Cons

more and more work given constantly but no more pay. Very stressful.

    Advice to Management

Look closer at your employees - there are many working their butts off that will never get the recognition they deserve while other slackers probably get paid the same if not not more for doing less/lower quality work. Take the time to see what it is each of your employees does and don't take them and what they do for granted.
