    Pros

For an interim job where you can gain sales experience, Gap is a great opportunity for someone just starting out in their career.

    Cons

Layers upon layers of pseudo-management positions give you the illusion of upward mobility but your paycheck will always tell you the truth.

    Advice to Management

Cutting sales hours is a short-sighted strategy. Invest in qualified, seasoned sales associates who can actually sell your product and you'll be surprised at the difference.

    Advice to Management

When the new management came in it seemed like they had some great ideas but no way of expressing them: this led to the disconnect of sales associates and the rest of the team. The new manager that came in while I was there did not know how to communicate with their employees and, although I know they were only trying to help, communicated with us in a rude way that did not promote positive work in some people.
