I worked at Gap part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

-great job for someone who's in school (very flexible scheduling) -coworkers are usually great -no uniform -overall? very chill

    Cons

-it is a retail job, so you get retail employee treatment (not the best pay, customers can get on your nerves somtimes) -they put a lot of emphasis on getting credit cards to the point that it seems like cashiers are more valued than other employees, especially those who get customers to sign up for cards -absolutely no challenges (if you don't give up school or personal time to work more hours and possibly become an assistant manager, then you'll remain a lowly associate) -overall, and eventually, the CONs will outweigh the PROs if you don't wish to make a career there

  2. Great benefits, constant hustle, and not enough hours.

I have been working at Gap part-time

    Pros

Great starting pay, constant customer interaction, and great discounts on clothes.

    Cons

Stressful work environment (depending where you are) and not enough hours given to many…thus making it a good job for college students.
