I have been working at Gartner full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great earning potential. If you do well there is opportunity to move up fast in the company.

    Cons

Can be challenging depending on your territory or assigned accounts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would suggest they perform more analysis of what factors are affecting success and make needed changes, such as how many accounts, what size of accounts, industries, territory. There needs to be more balance.

I have been working at Gartner full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Gartner's a rapidly growing company, and managed to performance numbers that increasingly tie to business value. This means that benefits and compensation are good, but there's a lot of change to adapt to. Co-workers are generally smart and cooperative (of course, there are always exceptions). The global nature of the business means that work can be very flexible.

    Cons

As with any company tuned to growth, there can be long hours. And the focus on business growth - read metrics - can feel stifling.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    keep the growth up.
