Pros

great to work for, will keep you challenged, very busy, need to put up or shut up

Cons

the review process is de-motivating, as the people the senior management like are given the world, with not the work product to show for it; and the others flounder with large work loads and fair to mddle ratings

Advice to Management

drop the review process - everyone else is wisening up - it will be OK

    Pros

Incredible 8 week training program for sales, extremely generous PTO (20/yr) and strong work/life balance (office is empty at 5:05), beautiful FL environment, in and out of the office. Beach and 5 shopping malls within 20 min drive. Values and culture are extremely important and those who don't align will not last long. Investment in your education, personal, and professional development keep you on your toes and consistently growing and learning. Your compensation is unlimited and benefits are near the top in corporate america. If you work hard and are good at what you do - $100K is more than attainable. If your are lazy and do just enough to get by - $65K is more realistic. Double digit commissions and quarterly bonuses each equaling a full year's rent is also nice. Bright people in the office through a very rigorous interview process (4th hardest last year behind MBB). No state income tax, low cost of living, and growing city with economy and housing market rebounding. Chicos is also HQ in Fort Myers with Hertz moving here in 2014. Local university (FGCU) right down the street. Gartner is a great company for "Yo-pros" in their mid to late 20's.

    Cons

Almost too obsessed with bottom line. This is a business though and at the end of the day it's how Wall Street keeps score. If you don't like money...then this company is not for you. Must be very driven, receptive to feedback, and have a strong executive presence. Side note - snowbirds in winter pack the city with tons of old people.

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in your people and it will pay tremendous dividends

    Pros

Sales professionals are given an annual quota and asked to hit it. Yes, there are forecasts and quarterly expectations. If you tune out the noise, and provide honest feedback to your manager, you have a ton of freedom. Ability to make consistent income.

    Cons

Although there is no "cap" on commission, it is very difficult to make huge money as territories won't allow it. Tremendous growth has caused high attrition rates and clients notice.

    Advice to Management

In a perfect world, take the company private... the best thing we could do for our clients would be to stop trying to grow so fast so that we can serve them better.
