Former Employee – worked at Gaylord Entertainment part-time for less than a year

Pros – The money was great most of the time. Employees received a discount on rooms and were able to get in free at the Glass Cactus. You were surrounded by an eclectic mix of individuals from all over the world. The food was impeccable.

Cons – When you deal with such a large company, there is bound to be head-butting and gossip. The waiters and support staff did not respect upper management and upper management did not always conduct themselves appropriately. During certain times of the year a less than desired consumer base would descend upon the hotel (red hat society, ICE tourists).
