Current Employee - Functional Manager in San Diego, CA

I have been working at General Atomics full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Great people, hard-working, and a get-it-done attitude. It is never dull, and there is lots of interest in finding ways to accomplish things quickly.

    Cons

The company is unable to schedule, prioritize, or manage competing interests. Each day is a fire. Everything is a top priority, and many, many things get no attention until they are a pressing issue.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to prioritize for the long-term and maintain those priorities. Regularly shifting priorities equal no priorities.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
