Pros

Great company to work for but has a poor top level management structure. Using recycled Senior Leadership is never a good strategy for success!

Cons

A ton of red tape to weed through whenever you work for a big company

Advice to Management

Make sure you have leaders in the organization who are proven to make a positive impact on the growth and future direction of a major company!

    Pros

Good management overall, good treatment for the most part

    Cons

loyal employee are taken advantage of. New hires seem to get better salaries. NO PAY RAISES in 2013 Across the board. Health care will go up once again, so it will be a net decrease in pay. Vacation time was reduced as well. I am sure executives will be excluded from the no pay raises policy since they got more than an 8% increase in 2012 while the rank and file got about 3%

    Advice to Management

Value your loyal employees. Stop reducing benefits. stop the hemorrhage of your best employees by using policies which are not competitive with the market

    Pros

Great people and teams. Great benefits. Pretty adequate work spaces, and almost all of the tools you need to get your work done. Usually work with you on different work schedules alternatives. Provide a real service to our service men and women.

    Cons

Right now, not a lot of direction is coming down from the top. We're not sure what all these lay-offs and reorganizations are meant for, and we're not hearing any explanation from the top. Need some communication to allay the fears and low morale that are all over the company.

    Advice to Management

Share the strategy behind these reorgs and lay-offs. Even just a simple email to all employees - something - would help us all feel a lot better about where we're at and help us be more productive.
