    Pros

There is a lot of industry best practices to be learned here. The company is steady and stable, and benefits are great.

    Cons

    There is little upward mobility.

    Pros

Work life balance Pension (for those who still have it) Rotational opportunities

    Cons

Salary not as competitive in functions outside of marketing Losing talented people Focus on results not relationships

    Advice to Management

Recruiting efforts need to be boosted. Outside of the marketing, the company seems to be losing to win over talented individuals and is settling for the local population from unknown institutions. I would advise that the company get back to hiring talent and not basing hiring decisions on 1. Do they like Minnesota? 2. Are they Minnesota nice? 3. Can they build relationships?
