Pros
Work/Life balance is a focus. The benefits are best in class. Pay is competitive. You get a chance to work with great people.
Cons
Lack of innovation in how processes are done. Promotions sometimes based solely on time in job and not on performance. A lot of the managers are micro-managers and do not give their direct reports enough autonomy.
Advice to Senior Management
Give your employees a chance to spread their wings. Don't micro-manage and let them try new and innovative things. These new methods could really impress customers if given a chance.
