Pros

Experience with large, global, matrixed company. International opportunities. Employee vehicle program, benefits are still good. Comp has been historically good, though has suffered as late.

Cons

Sinking ship. Highly bureaucratic, which can be frustrating. Executive pomposity, arrogance and internal blame games. The politics can be vicious. Long term industry prospects are not good. Exec bonuses cancelled and salaries cut, which may take some time to recover.

Advice to Senior Management

Avoid business decisions based on gov't pressure (eg. domestic small car production program, plant closure decisions).
