I worked at General Motors full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

best thing is that it is a large company and a potentially large scope of responsibilities. Working on IT side in product development was fun since top leadership in this IS&S division was solid. Product Development's IS&S management really knew how to get things done and drive change through organization. But other IS&S management, when they are bad, they are bad. IS&S Operations groups just don't know how to get the best out of people, seemingly not able to drive successful projects.

    Cons

    cost cutting is job #1

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    need to grow business

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
