    Pros

GM is a very old and conservative company. If you want job security, GM is the place to be. Great benefits, good salary, and good hours.

    Cons

Co-workers aren't very technical, especially if they are not from an engineering or comp sci background. Management is excellent, but unless you work in an engineering or design team, it is hard to get noticed and achieve promotions
