Pros
Its an easy job when its not busy and you are working with other people and able to get things done. You get two days off at times.
Cons
you get one day off instead of two if someone needs off. You don't get breaks. The pay is not good to start of in a entry level position. Manager is not a team player and contribute as much as keyholder and assistant manager does. You don't get paid time off at all until after some time. You are doing alot of single shifts alone and not have any double coverage for the store. Your sales percentages is what gets you promoted. You constantly have to bother people until they get something or run them out of the store if they don't want anything. Its hard communicating with the manager. Its not easy getting a weekend off. Working off the clock when told to stay afterward.
Advice to Senior Management
Should be a team player and be fair to others. We should always have double coverage for the store to make the store efficient. We should be able to take some time to leave the store for breaks and get something to eat and do whatever. Do not take other employees sales just to make yourself look good. Should be able to take a weekend off or any days needed off when its possible and have been give enough notice. Getting feedback from other employees on how you can be better as a manager or if you are doing something that can be better. Do not make employees work off the clock.
