I worked at Genius.com
Pros – Great compensation package. Work hard Play hard culture.
Cons – For a technology company the internal use of progressive time-saving tools is strangely absent.
Advice to Senior Management – An "Open Door Policy" does not make you easy to talk to or eager to listen. Genius was full of more open doors with closed minds inside than the largest Fortune 100.
Trust goes both ways and most people deserve to be heard. Genius.com and SFDC are not the only tools available to run an entire company. Investment in a good BI tool would go a long way and have a huge return to avoid wasting time on spreadsheets etc.
