I worked at Genoptix
Pros – Solid Senior Management. The company offers solid benefits and in general looks out for the employees. Morale is fairly high and has an overall younger feel. Since the company is relatively new, there is still some organizational flexibility. Great part of California to work.
Cons – A straightforward business model. There is limited mobility both upwards and between departments. Middle management not as strong as Senior management.
Advice to Senior Management – Continue to make hiring top quality employees a priority. Try to be more involved. Continually evaluate middle management to ensure that they can evolve with company. It has grown quickly over the years and maintaining the company culture is important since it made Genoptix stand out from the competition.
